When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored securely using one-way hashing. When you use our services, we collect transaction data, rental history and payment information necessary to process your orders.

• To provide and maintain our SMS verification services.
• To process payments and wallet transactions.
• To send password reset codes and essential account notifications.
• To respond to support tickets and inquiries.
• To prevent fraud and protect the platform.
• To send product updates or offers only when you separately choose to receive them.

We do not store your full card details or bank credentials. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers, including Cryptomus and Monnify. We store transaction references, amounts and statuses for account records, support and dispute handling.

Temporary phone numbers rented through our platform are supplied by third-party SMS providers. SMS content, including verification codes, is displayed to you in real time and stored temporarily in our system. We do not sell your SMS verification codes or use their contents for advertising.

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share limited data only:

• With payment processors to complete transactions.
• With SMS providers to fulfil number rental orders.
• With service providers that help us operate and secure the platform.
• When required by law or necessary to protect our rights, users or services.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including hashed passwords, CSRF protection, secure session management and HTTPS encryption. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so you should also use a unique password and protect your account credentials.

Account data is retained while your account remains active. Transaction and rental history may be retained for accounting, fraud prevention and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request account deletion by contacting support, subject to records we must retain for legal or legitimate business reasons.

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in, secure your session and remember necessary preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. If analytics or optional tracking technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw optional marketing consent at any time. Contact admin@rentnumber.net to make a request.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes may be announced by email or through a platform notice. The “Last updated” date at the top identifies the current version.
